Destiny 2's Open Beta Goes Live Tomorrow

Destiny 2 will be out in a few months, so for those interested in checking out how the sequel is shaping up here's your chance. The Open Beta will go live tomorrow on the PlayStation 4 for those that have an Asian PSN account on July 19 at exactly 2:00AM GMT+8. It will run until July 24. 

Check out the PlayStation Store right now and head to Destiny 2's store page. if you want to begin the download or get the Open Beta for your PSN account through your browser, you can go here. Based on our download, the beta will require 12.6GB of hard disk space on your PS4.

The Open Beta will give players the first campaign mission titled "Homecoming", which lets players experience the start of the story, with the Cabal attacking the Guardian's home turf. A cooperative multiplayer Strike will be made available as well called "The Inverted Spire", a dungeon-like instance that can be played with two other players. Then, players will get to try out the the Crucible, which is Destiny's competitive multiplayer mode. 

A full schedule for when the beta will hit for other players, especially for those on the Xbox One or those that pre-ordered in other regions, can be found here. For PC players, you'll have to wait a bit longer as the beta for the PC version is planned sometime in August.

Destiny 2 will be available on September 6 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
