E3 2013: Wolfenstein: The New Order trailer

Were getting a new Wolfenstein this year called Wolfenstein: The New Order. Not sure how I feel about the franchise thanks to the 2009 sequel, but I try to remember the classic and pray that we might get a decent modernization of the series. Have a look at the trailer below.

So far, it looks like any other shooter, but then again, Wolfenstein was the game that started the genre.

Wolfenstein: The New Order is set to be released at the end of this year for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, and next gen consoles.

Injustice: Gods Among Us Ares Combos

A friend of mine told me to use Ares as a joke (we thought his inclusion in the game was funny) but as I messed around with him in training more for an hour or two I found that he seems like a pretty good character. A bit stiff in terms of range, movement and normals but he can do decent damage of simple strings and can do hard hitting corner combos. You can hit a wall bounce after a meter burned God Smack (the unblockable flying sledgehammer like move) but I found that out after I made this video.

The last combo actually does around 55% or so damage but I edited it to show the win pose at the end.

Clueless Gamer - Injustice: Gods Among Us (General Zod gameplay and The Flaming C costume)

A new episode of Clueless Gamer by Conan O'Brien. This time he reviews the new DC fighting game, Injustice: Gods Among Us.

They talk about the Injustice comic, show a bit of General Zod gameplay and reveal a new costume based on the super created Conan and Bruce Tim, The Flaming C.

On a side note, those arcade sticks look mad sick. I'm a sucker for light-up accessories.

E3 2013: The Walking Dead: 400 Days Trailer

Let's be clear. This is NOT The Walking Dead: The Video Game Season 2. This is sort of an expansion. A side story, if you will. Focusing on 5 new characters with their own stories in one episode.

Choices you've made in Season 1 will carry over to The Walking Dead: 400 Days and the choices in that will show it's impact in season 2.

The new episode is set to launch in next month for $5 and PC, Mac, XBLA, PSN and what caught me by surprisingle, iOS. The PSVita version will come out in August of this year and it will be bundled with the entire first season.

Some of you maybe not be pleased that this isn't season 2 but hey, I'm just glad that we're getting more Telltale Walking Dead action this early. And don't worry, season 2 is due out later this fall.

Murdered: Soul Suspect Trailer

I caught this trailer yesterday during a Square Enix live stream right before I went to bed and murder mysteries have always piqued my interest. Ghost detectives are not a new thing but I've rarely seen it done right. A teaser site for this game was put up back in February earlier this year.

The trailer didn't really show how the game would play but lucky for us Gamespot did coverage of it's gameplay. It looks to be a modern day point and click adventure game but the best comparison would be to L.A. Noire's investigation sequences. Instead of interrogation, you look into the memories of the people around you and try to piece together what exactly happened. There are said to be stealth sequences too where you have to avoid or get passed my demons who can end your ghostly life.

I like that you can actually walk through walls instead of having to open doors to get around. You are a ghost after all. Murdered: Soul suspect is set to release on PS3, PC and Xbox 360 sometime next year.
