/It’s the weekend and the Steam Summer Sale is underway! It’s time to take all that money you’ve saved for rent next week and blow it all on some goddamn PC games. To that end, I’ve looked at hundreds of pages worth of deals on games. Steam knows deals, it has the best deals.
Now, some of these games aren’t exactly at their historic best, with prices having gone lower over spring time and during the holidays, but a second chance at games below sticker price is always a good thing. Enjoy your purchases and remember: there’s no such thing as too much gaming.
Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration – PHP 779.70 (70% down from PHP 2599) In Siberia, you do not find adventure, adventure find you.
Dying Light: Enhanced Edition – PHP 823.35 (67% down from PHP 2495) This open world zombie escape parkour adventure wasn’t well received at first, but dozens of updates have made it a cult hit.
Middle-Earth: Shadow of War – PHP 414.78 (66% down from PHP 1219.95) When all the lootboxes are said and done, what we have here is Orc Dating Simulator Pro 2017: Manflesh Edition.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Game of the Year Edition – PHP 679.60 (60% down from PHP 1699) If you’re like me, then you haven’t bought this game because you have a metric fuckton of unfinished open world games.
Planet Coaster – PHP 894.15 (55% down from PHP 1987) The prequel to Jurassic World: Evolution, this amusement park simulator is set in a time before man discovered how to clone dinosaurs and also recklessly endanger their children.
Assasssin’s Creed: Origins – PHP 1119.50 (50% down from PHP 2239) A bold redesign of a series that was in danger of becoming stale, with a non-white bro-tagonist who is immensely likable and a compelling RPG grind to enjoy.
Final Fantasy XV: Windows Edition – PHP 1349.50 (50% down from PHP 2699) This beloved boy band road trip adventure is one of the better PC ports and comes with all of the DLC that was released in the year since its release on consoles.
Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition – PHP 1380 (50% down from PHP 2760) In case you missed it in 2015, you can get into a post-nuclear mood ahead of the release of Fallout 76 later this year.
Prey – PHP 690 (50% down from PHP 1380) Easily one of the best immersive sims of this decade. Also the only game in which you can transform into a coffee mug.
Rocket League – PHP 249.97 (50% down from PHP 499.95) Play ball with friends on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in the best sports game since FIFA: Road to World Cup 98.
Dead Cells – PHP 269.97 (40% down from PHP 449.95) Rogue-lite metroidvania with souls-lite mechanics is the official log line. It’s still in Early Access, but I’ve had a blast with this one.
Resident Evil 7 biohazard – PHP 519.35 (35% down from PHP 799) Go tell Aunt Rhody that your finances, your future and you are dead.
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 – PHP 428.96 (34% down from PHP 649.95) With Left 4 Dead left for dead, the Vermintide games are the next best thing, replacing zombies with ratpersons.
Dandara – PHP 257.36 (34% down from PHP 389.95) This acrobatic platformer features a unique Afro-Brazilian flavor and some exciting gravity defying mechanics.
Cuphead – PHP 399.96 (20% down from PHP 499.95) This challenging shooter might fool you with its vintage animation style, but it’s gonna spank you like an old Nintendo game
Divinity: Original Sin 2 – PHP 991.96 (20% down from PHP 1239.95) This charming sequel to a modern classic is also a modern classic, bringing the detailed style of classic CRPGs into the present decade.
Into The Breach – PHP 311.96 (20% down from PHP 389.95) Travel back in time to cancel the apocalypse in this endlessly repeating kaiju fighting strategy game.
Developer Odyssey Interactive is approaching its next project differently by showing one of its prototype games called Byte Breakers, a 40-player battle royal fighting game similar to Super Smash Bros. It’s so early in the development stage that based on player feedback, they “might not even make this game.”
