PlayStation Plus June 2025 Monthly Games & Days of Play Lineup Announced

Sony has officially revealed the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup for June 2025, and it’s shaping up to be a solid month with the inclusion of this year’s Days of Play celebration. Starting June 3, subscribers will get access to three full games and one expansion for a major free-to-play title. The lineup includes:

PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for May 2025

Available Starting June 3:

  • NBA 2K25 (PS5, PS4)

  • Alone in the Dark (2024) (PS5)

  • Bomb Rush Cyberfunk (PS5, PS4)

Available Now – May 30:

  • Destiny 2: The Final Shape (PS5, PS4)

Days of Play 2025 – Game Catalog and Classic Titles Incoming

As part of this year’s Days of Play celebration, Sony is adding six new games to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog and Classic Catalog for Extra and Deluxe/Premium subscribers.

Game Catalog Additions

  • Another Crab’s Treasure (PS5) – May 29

  • Skull and Bones (PS5) – June 2

  • Destiny 2: Legacy Collection (PS5, PS4) – June 4

  • Grand Theft Auto III (PS5, PS4) – June 10

Classic Catalog Additions

  • Myst (PS5, PS4)

  • Riven (PS5, PS4)

Destiny 2 Expansions and Days of Play Perks

A notable highlight this month is the inclusion of Destiny 2’s expansions. Between The Final Shape and Legacy Collection, Extra and Premium subscribers will effectively gain access to the full experience, likely in preparation for Edge of Fate, which launches June 16.

The Days of Play 2025 celebration runs from May 28 to June 11 and will include global activities, region-specific discounts, and other events. You can find full regional details here, though don’t be surprised if there’s nothing yet, as details for one region might be available, but for others, just not yet. Check back from time to time if there’s nothing yet at your end of the world.

Also part of the event is a new NBA 2K25 tournament series, hosted by PlayStation. Participants can compete daily to win virtual rewards, including NBA 2K Virtual Currency and Days of Play-themed PSN avatars.

What’s the Difference Between Monthly Games and the Game Catalog?

It can still be confusing, so here’s the breakdown:

  • Monthly Games are available to all PlayStation Plus subscribers (Essential, Extra, and Premium). Once you claim them, they’re yours to keep in your library for as long as you remain subscribed — there’s no expiration date.

  • The Game Catalog (and Classic Catalog) is only available to Extra and Premium subscribers. These libraries offer a rotating selection of games, which can be played while they’re available. However, unlike Monthly Games, titles in the catalog can leave the service, meaning you lose access even if you’re still subscribed.

For May, over 20 games left the service, but 10 new ones were added to refresh the catalogs.

If you haven’t already, there’s still time to claim May 2025’s Monthly Games. ARK: Survival Ascended, Balatro, and Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun are available until June 2 — be sure to add them to your library before they’re gone.

Days of Play Discounts in the Philippines

Days of Play will also feature discounts for select PlayStation 5 hardware and select first-party titles for those in the Philippines. The PlayStation Store has also gone live with their list of games discounted for th duration of the celebration.
