Various balance updates
New Survivors
Original Survivors with new abilities
New weapons as well as some weapons seen from Risk of Rain 2
New enemies and interactables

This is just the handful of changes mentioned in their latest Dev Thoughts video, which also mentions that Gearbox Publishing will be publishing anything related to the Risk of Rain franchise, including Risk of Rain Returns. ‘
Those who jumped into the sequel might be surprised that the game actually didn’t start out as a 3D game but a 2D platformer.

It’s easy to describe Animal Well as a puzzle-focused Metroidvania eschewing traditional combat, where nearly every room is a puzzle room, but that falls so far short of describing just what this game is and how expertly it defies genre and classification that it feels like a disservice. Animal Well is a paragon of the art form, a game that simply must be experienced.
