Dead Island 2 Recommended PC Specs Revealed

Dead Island 2 is definitely coming out, and if you’re excited to explore the zombie-infested Los Angeles on PC, here are the PC specs so you can prepare ahead of time as it’s just a week away from launch.

Here’s a rundown of the Dead Island 2 PC specifications from Minimum to Ultra.

Dead Island 2 Minimum PC Specs

  • GPU: AMD Radeon RX 480 or GeForce GTX 1060

Dead Island 2 Recommended PC Specs

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X or Intel Core i9-9900K

  • Memory: 16GB

  • GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT or GeForce RTX 2070 Super

Dead Island 2 High PC Specs

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700X or Intel Core i5-12600KF

  • Memory: 16GB

Dead Island 2 Ultra PC Specs

Together with Dead Island 2’s PC specs, it was also revealed that the game will not support cross-play but supports cross-generation crossplay on console, allowing for example PlayStation 4 players to play with PlayStation 5 players. Sorry, PC players.

Dead Island 2 is also confirmed to run on 60 for both PS5 and Xbox Series X|S while the previous generation (PS4 and Xbox One) will have their FPS capped to 30. It is also confirmed that the game will feature DirectX 12 and AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution, and AMD FidelityFX Contrast Adaptive Sharpening.  

Dead Island 2 is still set to launch on April 21, 2023.
