Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door HD Remaster Is Coming to the Switch
/The Nintendo Direct for September ends with the reveal of a remaster of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door for the Nintendo Switch. It’s set to release sometime in 2024.
This will be considered a big deal for fans of the RPG game as many consider this to be the best Paper Mario game in the series.
It’s now close to two decades since the original game was released on the GameCube as it was released back in 2004. In this game, Mario is set to rescue Peach from aliens called the X-naughts.
This isn’t the only Mario game revealed during the latest Nintendo Direct as a remake of the original Mario Vs. Donkey Kong was also announced during the broadcast.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure brings back Max Caulfield with new time-manipulation powers, but struggles to capture the original’s emotional weight. While the dual-timeline mechanic is engaging, the story’s weak twists, forgettable characters, and technical issues hold it back. A nostalgic revisit, but not a standout entry in the series.
