Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War's Latest Patch Makes Weapon Leveling Faster
Treyarch just released a new update for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War that makes leveling weapons faster in both Multiplayer and Zombies.
A godsend, if you ask me as leveling weapons to unlock weapon attachments were too slow. It felt more apparent that progression was indeed too slow as the shooter had a double XP event to celebrate the release of the free map Nuketown ‘84.
You can read the patch notes right here and continue the grind. They didn’t go in detail as to how high they increased the experience earned in both Multiplayer and Zombies but I can definitely feel it’s gone up.
This is Treyarch’s fifth patch since the game’s November 13 launch, tackling a series of tuning from stability issues to balancing issues with the current weapons available in the game. Even with the current patches now live, there remains a few balancing issues that have plagued the shooter, like how the perk Flak Jacket — which reduces damage from explosives — currently stands as one of the best perks in the game hands down.
Here’s why.
As it stands, Flak Jacket can save you from certain scorestreaks, grenades, and even rocket hits, but other explosions like a proximity mine or an RC-XD will not.
It’s weird, but Treyarch is aware of such issues thus the series of patch updates coming in a short amount of time.
