AOC Featured Latest Gaming Monitors During Alita: Battle Angel Screening
/AOC, who became the number one monitor brand in the Philippines in 2017, partnered with Twentieth Century Fox Film for the premier of James Cameron’s Alita: Battle Angel at the SM Megamall IMAX theater on January 31, 2019, and we were invited to check out the screening.
Before watching the film with the rest of the invited media outfits, AOC Philippines Marketing Manager, Jack Salamia presented AOC’s recently launched gaming monitors — the C27G1 and the G2590PX.
AOC C27G1
This is a 27” curved gaming monitor at 144hz with 1ms response, plus VA panels that supports AMD’s FreeSync feature. It has an anti-glare screen surface with a curve measured at 1500R, steeper than the 1800R typically found in other monitors. The C27G1 offers a decent coverage of sRGB color space (99%) and has a slim screen bezels measured at 0.26in on the sides and 0.85in at the bottom. The C27G1 will go at a suggested retail price of PHP 19,836.
AOC G2590PX
At 24.5” this gaming monitor is equipped with a 144hz TN Panel that also supports AMD’s FreeSync feature. The G2590PX is also considered NVIDIA G-Sync compatible when paired with NVIDIA GeForce graphics cards. The TN panel also features a decent coverage of sRGB color space (98%). The G2590PX will go for a suggested retail price of PHP 16,236 while its 27” variant, the G2790PX, will cost a big more at PHP 19,044.
