Dead by Daylight Shrine of Secrets Perks for October 19-26, 2022

Dead by Daylight’s Shrine of Secrets is an in-game store that gives players the opportunity to unlock perks from Survivors or Killers still unavailable to them for a limited time. This week offers the perks Iron Will, Nurse’s Calling, Lithe, and Save the Best for Last. A strong list that’s all worth recommending but here’s a quick rundown of each perk available from October 19, 2022 until October 26.

Dead by Daylight Shrine of Secrets perks for October 19 to October 26, 2022

To unlock a perk through the Shine of Secrets, you’ll need to spend Iridescent Shards per perk. Tier 1 perks can cost 2,000 shards but higher tiers can cost higher.

It’s another strong offering this week for both killer and survivor. Here’s what is available this week.

Killer Perks

Nurse’s Calling - The Auras of Survivors, who are h ealing or being healed, are revealed to you when they are within a range of 20/24/28 meters.

Save the Best for Last - Earn a token for each successful basic attack that is not dealt to the current Obsession. Each token grants a stackable 5% decreased successful basic attack cooldown, you can earn up to 8 tokens. Hitting your Obsession with a basic attack will make you lose 4/3/2 tokens.

Survivor Perks

Iron Will - Grunts of Pain caused by injuries (during injured stated) are reduced by 25/50/75%. It will not function while in the Exhausted state. It also does not inflict Exhausted.

Lithe- After performing a rushed vault, break into a sprint at 150% of your normal running speed for a maximum of 3 seconds. This action puts you in the Exhausted state for 60/50/40 seconds. Lithe cannot be used again while Exhausted.

Which perks are worth getting this week?

This week’s list of perks offered through the Shrine of Secrets is solid for both roles, and is highly recommended.

For starters, Iron Will is least recommended simply because you can earn this perk by simply leveling up Jake Park, one of the base survivors that comes for just owning the game. Instead of spending shards, just unlock Iron Will for your whole roster as reduced audio cues when in the injured state can be a life saver, especially for beginners.

Lithe, on the other hand, is a solid exhaustion perk that can get you out of sticky situations if done right. Either fast vaulting on a window or a downed pallet, the distance you earn from the speed and the obstacle likely blocking the killers way can put you in an advantageous position.

As for killers, Save the Best for Last is probably one of the strongest perks in the game simply because it makes killers that are more basic attack-focused more lethal. Trapper, Gunslinger, Clown, and more can get the most out of this perk as the more tokens simple means a shorter distance between you and your target after the initial hit. Definitely a must-buy.

Lastly, Nurse’s Calling. This perk is in the same boat as Iron Will as it’s a perk that can be earned by leveling the base killer The Nurse, but there’s still value for unlocking this perk through the shrine as playing Nurse as a beginner can be intimidating as her playstyle is an acquired taste. That being said, it doesn’t seem like a waste to spend shards here as you definitely want this perk available.

The concept is simple as those who try to heal near you will be seen by you, applying quick pressure to any team trying to recover from your previous onslaught. The Oni, The Legion, anybody that benefits from injured survivors will have a good time wit Nurse’s Calling as one of the 4 perks in your loadout as information is always key in Dead by Daylight.

Dead by Daylight’s Shrine of Secrets reset every Wednesday at 12 AM UTC / 8 AM GMT +8.

Dead by Daylight’s Halloween event is currently underway and is the best time to play as there’s tons of Bloodpoints to earn as well as a new Tome to progress through to earn rewards.
