Destiny 2 Beyond Light's First Raid Clear Unlocked New Content For The Community
/Destiny 2’s first raid in the Beyond Light expansion was released last week and it only too about six hours for the first team to clear the raid, which resulted in new quests and exotics for the Destiny 2 community.
Bungie has done as both previous expansions, Shadowkeep and Forsaken, had new content for players once their raids were beaten for the first time. In Beyond Light, it’s no different, and World first this time goes to the clan Luminous.
The raid was set in Europa and it involves you exploring a deeper part of Europa which eventually led you to a space station which evidently crashes down to set up the final battle in the raid. It’s pretty nuts and the community is loving the concept and all the mechanics that make the Beyond Light expansion's first raid.
So, thanks to the efforts of clan Luminous, here are what’s unlocked:
A new quest from Variks.
A new quest from the Exo Stranger.
A new exotic quest for the Lament sword via the Banshee.
Eclipsed Zones on Europa.
More Variks Sabotage missions.
Players will be introduced with a new cutscene that triggers when you go to Europa. This cutscene also triggers after completing the raid as well and it is a simple teaser of things to come in Destiny 2.
For the new story quests, just head over to Variks or the Exo Stranger to go through them You can also start the exotic quest for the Lament sword by talking to Banshee-44.
Eclipsed Zones are rather interesting as they are new rotating regions that have debris of some sort falling from the sky from the space station wreckage. These areas come with new activities and are tied to some quest steps.
Lastly, there are now 3 new exotics that are now obtainable in the game. Eyes of Tomorrow is a new exotic rocket launcher that has a chance of dropping once you’ve completed the Deep Stone Crypt raid. The exotic sniper rifle Cloudstrike is a random drop from an Empire Hunt playlist while the exotic sword Lament is the new exotic quest which was mentioned earlier.
Destiny 2’s latest expansion is being given praise but also flak, especially thanks to how sunsetting was handled, but overall Destiny 2 is still looking good after Beyond Light’s launch and with the raid now unlocked and beaten, it’s interesting to see what Bungie has in store for their fellow guardians.
Metaphor: ReFantazio is now my favorite title from the Persona team by far. It’s one of those rare games where its main pillars work harmoniously, and you get lost in its charm. It’s a pristine JRPG, with enough style and substance to satisfy hardcore JRPG fans, Persona fans, and even those who rarely touch JRPGs.
