Destiny 2 Guide - The PvE “God Rolls” for the Ghosts of the Deep Dungeon Weapons
/Destiny 2 is now on its 21st season with Season of the Deep, and it comes with a new dungeon for this year called Ghosts of the Deep. It’s in Titan and it has an amazing loot pool that justifies multiple Dungeon runs. Here are the “god rolls” for each weapon.
Ghost of the Deep Weapon God Rolls
The Ghosts of the Deep loot pool is a pleasant surprise as almost all weapons available in this new dungeon can easily be considered for either PvE or PvP for various reasons. Let’s also not forget The Navigator exotic Strand Trace Rifle which has the ability to give an ally and yourself Woven Mail without being required to be in the Strand subclass.
As the season goes on, I will likely update this list if anything changes in the game, or if we noticed a crazy perk combination worth mentioning in the future.
Perks in the first and second perks usually vary as most of the value of a particular weapon is in the third and fourth columns. With that in mind we will focus on the third and fourth columns and if needed, mention any first and second perk recommendations if needed.
The Column 3 and Column 4 perks bolded are what you should prioritize in each gun.
No Survivors Solar SMG
No Survivors is an insanely good Solar SMG that this could be your next go-to primary for your Solar builds. Both in PvE and PvP, this 750 RPM aggressive frame primary can excel in most content found in the game as long as you compensate for its lackluster reload speed, so hope for a reload masterwork or a light mag if the reload speed starts bothering you.
Column 3 Perks
Well-Rounded
Surplus
Offhand Strike
Discord
Rangefinder
Demolitionist
Column 4 Perks
Pugilist
Elemental Capacitor
Collective Action
Target Lock
Incandescent
Adrenaline Junkie
PvE
Demolitionist and Incandescent - One of the best combinations for any Solar build in PvE. Kills give you grenade energy and you scorch those nearby, giving you opportunities to synergize with your subclass. Great for red bar clearing.
Demolitionist and Adrenaline Junkie - For grenade-focused builds, you can’t go wrong with a perk combination like this for any subclass.
PvP
*We are aware of this being a PvE-focused god roll list, but this combination is hard to pass if you so happen to get this combination of perks.
Rangefinder and Target Lock - Get some good range from the 1st and 2nd column, hope for a range masterwork and you’ll have an SMG that feels good from close to mid-range thanks to Rangefinder. You then have Target Lock, which lets your SMG hit harder as long as you stay on target.
Cold Comfort Stasis Rocket Launcher
The SMG is great, but many are likey going to Ghosts of the Deep to get themselves a nice roll of Cold Comfort, the rocket launch that has the potential to be the top DPS rocket launcher in the game thanks to a new perk added to the game.
Column 3 Perks
Shot Swap
Impulse Amplifier
Perpetual Motion
Envious Assassin
Tracking Module
Ensemble
Column 4 Perks
Bipod
Collective Action
Cluster Bomb
Explosive Light
Bait and Switch
Chill Clip
PvE
Envious Assassin and Bait and Switch - Pretty much the only combination to prioritize as both perks will trigger if you’ve done damage to an enemy from your primary and secondary before switching to Cold Comfort. Envious adds an additional rocket then on the next reload you have the new Bait and Switch perk, which gives your next rockets an increase of 35% in damage for 10 seconds.
If you can’t get the two paired but have at least Bait and Switch, other perks like Tracking Module wouldn’t be so bad as it’s all about the new perk.
Envious Assassin and Chill Clip/Explosive Light - In case you don’t have a rocket launcher without Chill Clip or Explosive Light, here’s your chance. I would still suggest a Cold Comfort with Bait and Switch, but having a version with these perks isn’t a bad idea either.
Greasy Luck Solar Glaive
A Solar Glaive that surprisingly has a fast fire rate, a rare characteristic in the weapon type. This is the weakest offer in the Dungeon, but don’t take that the wrong way as this is still a weapon you would want to have if the Glaive weapon type is your thing.
Column 3 Perks
Replenishing Aegis
Disruption Break
Impulse Amplifier
Killing Wind
Immovable Object
Lead from Gold
Column 4 Perks
Unstoppable Force
Opening Shot
Collective Action
Close to Melee
Incandescent
Redirection
PvE
Replenishing Aegis and Unstoppable Force - Great synergy between these two perks and it works well with the weapon having an RPM of 90. Just fire away, block hits to replenish ammo, then when you fire again you’ll hit harder thanks to Unstoppable Force.
You can go instead for Close to Melee or Incandescent depending on your build, so there’s a lot of flexibility here with this weapon.
New Pacific Epitaph Stasis Grenade Launcher
This is a Wave Frame Stasis grenade launcher, the first of its kind I believe and its perk pool makes it yet another weapon to hunt for, especially those who like to make builds focused on throwing endless grenades.
Column 3 Perks
Perpetual Motion
Demolitionist
Shot Swap
Lead from Gold
Unrelenting
Ensemble
Column 4 Perks
Kill Clip
Pugilist
Harmony
Collective Action
Redirection
Adrenaline Junkie
PvE
Demolitionist and Redirection/Adrenaline Junkie - There are not many Wave Frame grenade launchers with Demolitionist, which is why this is a must-have as it pairs nicely with grenade builds. You then pair it with Redirection for more damage to those that are not red bar enemies or Adrenaline Junkie as you’ll likely throw your grenade with this weapon drawn.
It’s really all about getting that Demolitionlist roll with this weapon as even with Chill Clip or Collective Action in the 4th column, it’s worth considering to keep.
Also, wondering about the “god rolls” for the seasonal weapons in Season of the Deep? We have a list of perk combinations to keep an eye out and is worth creating the craftable versions of those weapons.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure brings back Max Caulfield with new time-manipulation powers, but struggles to capture the original’s emotional weight. While the dual-timeline mechanic is engaging, the story’s weak twists, forgettable characters, and technical issues hold it back. A nostalgic revisit, but not a standout entry in the series.
