PC Version of the Last of Us Part 1 Delayed To March 28
/Naughty Dog announced that the PC version of The Last of Us Part 1 will be delayed to March 28, 2023 so that the PC version truly lives up to the studios and fans standards. It was originally set to release on March 3.
This is the first time the series will be available on another platform other than PlayStation, and with The Last of Us TV series getting more traction as more episodes are released, a few weeks of added polish might do good as Part 1 releasing on PC will likely welcome a stream of players that haven’t played the game.
In my review of The Last of Us Part 1, it was a great visual upgrade and I said that it reminded me why I loved the first game so much as It still holds up surprisingly well after so long. Those jumping into this world for the first time through PC will be in for a treat, especially if the TV show is your first exposure to Naughty Dog’s post-apocalyptic nightmare, as you get to compare the differences between the two, especially after episode 3 in the TV series where it deviated heavily from the game and has enriched both versions.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure brings back Max Caulfield with new time-manipulation powers, but struggles to capture the original’s emotional weight. While the dual-timeline mechanic is engaging, the story’s weak twists, forgettable characters, and technical issues hold it back. A nostalgic revisit, but not a standout entry in the series.
