Synduality: Echo of Ada Season 1 Update Adds New Map, Gear, and More on February 6

A couple of weeks after the launch of anime extraction shooter Synduality: Echo of Ada, Bandai Namco and developer Game Studio revealed that the game’s season 1 update will include a new map called East Amasia, new Requests (quests), gear, and more.

The new map is a location combining the Northern and Southern zones, the game’s first two maps. They didn’t go into full details but the East Amasia map looks to be designed for players that have the highest level of gear and wish to find more high-end equipment as players will need to reach a certain point in the request chain to unlock the new map, similar to the second map.

This will be the game’s first major update since releasing and the first new map inclusion as the current maps available have been available even in the beta days. The Season 1 East Amasia update will go live on February 6.

Synduality Echo of Ada launched with a solid foundation for the extraction shooter formula but is struggling to find a balance with its game economy and PVP and PVE experiences in different platforms. I enjoyed my time with the game but there are a lot of questionable design choices and balance issues that are holding it back.

Synduality Echo of Ada is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam.
