The Final Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak update is releasing today

Capcom is releasing Bonus Update Ver. 16 for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak later today, June 8 as this free update will be the final major update for the game as players will get to face Primordial Malzeno.
Primordial Malzeno quests will be available at MR 10
Just like previous monsters added to the game, Primordial Malzeno also comes with its own set of armor and weapons. But this isn’t the only addition coming from this update as players can expect new slots for armor Augmentation, and new decorations in the Smithy.
On July 27, 2023, new Event Quests will be added to the game to add even more challenges and unique rewards to earn.
This is the final update planned for the game, which first launched on the Switch on March 2021. It was then slowly released on other platforms and was even given a major expansion, Sunbreak. In between all of this, Capcom has been constantly updating the game with free content and is concluding its run with the release of Primordial Malzeno.
The final update released today is for the Switch and Steam versions of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak as the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows versions of the game is still behind on some updates.
To catch up, Title Updates 4, 5, and the Bonus update will be released as one package for other platforms on August 24.
