Vault Of Glass Raid Heading To Destiny 2 This May
/Bungie has announced that the first raid in the original Destiny will be heading to Destiny 2 on May 22. The narrative of what happens inside the raid will remain the same but with a few changes.
What are the changes? That will remain a secret until we get in there but based on the details revealed by Bungie recently, the overall goal for the developers is to “keep the feeling simiar to how you remeber, but we have made some updates to bring this content up to Destiny 2 standards”. The way begins as Vault of Glass goes live on May 22 10 AM PDT / May 23, 1 AM PST (Philippine Standard Time).
I still remember Vault of Glass, and a good portion of the Destiny community remembers it too. It’s the piece of content that showed us the potential of a 6-man PvE content that requires coordination and skill to overcome. I was lucky to have had a group eager to clear it and it was quite a memorable experience as it took hours to figure out how to beat each section of the raid.
After the release of Vault of Glass, more raid content was released with the sequel having it’s own set of raid content, with some of them sadly locked away in the Destiny Content Vault, Bungie’s way to decompress a growing live service game.
When it comes to Destiny raids, it’s tradition for the community to race and see who will be the first group to clear the raid content. Bungie is aware and supports the World First raids that it has a Contest Mode to keep things fair for all that plans to participate.
Vault of Glass will launch with Contest Mode (explained here) enabled for 24 hours.
You will need to be at 1300 Power to be at the cap for all of the encounters.
Clearing Vault of Glass with Contest Mode active is the first step to access the new Challenge Mode in the Director and the Tempo's Edge Triumph.
Completing Tempo's Edge, a curated list of Triumphs, in this newly unlocked Challenge Mode, will be how a fireteam crosses the World First finish line and claims their prize.
To enforce the Triumph requirements in the Challenge Mode, your team will wipe if you fail the success conditions during each encounter.
What’s the prize for earning the World First in Destiny 2’s version of Vault of Glass? A champion belt that features the in-game names of the first group of Guardians that cleared the original raid first nearly seven years ago.
Metaphor: ReFantazio is now my favorite title from the Persona team by far. It’s one of those rare games where its main pillars work harmoniously, and you get lost in its charm. It’s a pristine JRPG, with enough style and substance to satisfy hardcore JRPG fans, Persona fans, and even those who rarely touch JRPGs.
