Warhammer 40: Space Marine 2 Post Launch Content Overview Revealed
/Saber Interactive has provided a more detailed look at what they have planned for Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2’s post-launch content, which will be free to all owners of the game. This update roadmap is focused on supporting the game’s online mode, mainly the co-op game mode called Operations.
They plan do provide multiple free content drops throughout each season of the game and the first major update coming to the game is the addition of a new Operations mission called Termination, which features players to face off against a Tyranid Hierophant Bio-Titan. For those looking for a bigger challenge in the game mode overall, the next major update is to add a new difficulty level called Lethal, which is said to challenge the most prepared and coordinated Squad. Players will also get to wield a new weapon called the Neo-Volkite Pistol.
For season pass holders, you get cosmetic packs that feature the Dark Angels chapter, the Champion Pack, and more weapon skins to customize your Space Marine.
There’s no exact date given to the next major update as the news is to given a good idea of what to expect from Saber Interactive as they support the game for the rest of 2024 and the rest of 2025.
