Zelda Four Swords commercial with Robin Williams

Zelda 25th Anniversary Robin Williams and his daughter Zelda(yes, named after the princess) show up once again for another Zelda commercial but this time they compete with Zelda Four Swords.

Got to love Robin Williams for doing these commercials. Nintendo is currently celebrating Zelda's 25th anniversary, and they have a lot planned. One of them is Four Swords anniversary edition that just went free to download on the 3DS/DSi shop a few days ago. Grab it now! or later if you want since it will be free until next year February. Don't you love free stuff?

Check the official website for more info about Legend of Zelda: Four Swords.

Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance - TGS 2011 Trailer

Neku in KH Ok, I love the Kingdom Hearts games even though Square Enix has dragged it on this long but when they announced Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance for the 3DS I had no interest in playing this. But after seeing a certain character in this new trailer from this year's Tokyo Game Show, I squealed like a school girl.

Neku Sakuraba from The World Ends With You (すばらしきこのせかい Subarashiki Kono Sekai / It's a Wonderful World) makes an appearance in KH 3D. The World Ends With You was a DS game made by the Kingdom Hearts team back in 2008 and was a game that I was very fond of and enjoyed and seeing the main character from that game in this new Kingdom Hearts in full 3D got my hype meter maxed out. Yet another reason for me to save up for a 3DS.

Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney 2011 Trailer

Double Objection! Finally, we get to see some gameplay footage of Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney in this new trailer straight from Japan!.. Via youtube.

We get a glimpse of the court room gameplay which just looks like a (not so stellar) 3D rendition of the game sprites from previous Ace Attorney games. Goofy characters and striking soundeffects are still present and will hopefully bring the same amount of fun insanity that PW games are known for. With everything being done in 3D, this allows for a more dynamic view when s*** starts to go down.

Layton appears near the end of the trailer and we also see a bit of the Layton style gameplay as the cast wanders about the world. The dialogue sequences follows the Layton style with 2 characters being shown on the screen at the same time as opposed to the first person "dating sim" perspective of the PW games.

Since the cancellation of Mega Man Legends 3, I had lost all the will to save up for a 3DS but this trailer reminded me of 2 of my favorite DS titles and that their sequels and spinoffs will be moving on to Nintendo's new handheld. This trailer has slightly fueled my 3D desire but unless I see an English trailer of this soon, Nintendo won't be getting my money... Aside from Skyward Sword.

Monster Hunter 4 revealed for 3DS

Capcom just announced Monster Hunter 4 and it's going to be an exclusive title for the 3DS. Was never really interested in buying a 3DS, but this one is making me think otherwise.

I've been a fan of Monster Hunter in the PSP. In fact, it's the only game in the PSP where I spend X amount of hours grinding to get that perfect weapon or Armour set, and gather with four of my friends to do some co op and challenge ourselves with even harder Monsters to hunt. The trailer is a pretty lengthy teaser of one hunter running for his life but eventually fights an even bigger monster in the end. One feature that caught my eye was the fact that you can jump on the monsters back and start slashing away. This is something the game should have implemented 2 Monster Hunter games ago.

With this being an exclusive title for the 3DS, will the Monster Hunter fans go out now to get their very own 3DS? or just stick to the old games?
