Pokemo~ I mean Crystal Monsters!... Wait, what?

Gameloft is a studio that is known for making a lot of games for mobile devices. The inspiration for most of their titles can be a bit.. questionable at times (most of the time) but they do release some quality titles.

Here we have one of their games that was released on July 10, 2010. Look Familiar?

From the Gameloft site:

There are two kinds of people in this world: those who can see monsters - called Neo-Seeds - and those who can’t. Neo-Seeds wield extraordinary power and battle using tamed monsters in grand tournaments. As a young Neo-Seed who just discovered his ability, it is time for you to set off on a fantastic adventure to become the greastest Monster Breeder. Travel across the world on a quest to uncover the secret of the Final Monsters as you capture, breed and train your own team of powerful creatures to best your opponents in dangerous monster battles.

After seeing this, I have lost all faith in Gameloft.

Splinter Cell in 3D

Ever imagined what its like to see Sam Fisher in 3D? Wonder no more for Ubisoft just made that possible with Splinter Cell 3D a game for the Nintendo 3DS. The game was released on March 2011 and would be a remake of Chaos Theory, one of the best stealth games there is. So now you ask your self, would this be like Splinter Cell Essential? I certainly hope not, cause Splinter Cell Essentials was a disaster. Game reviewers everywhere trashed the game so even if I were a fan of Splinter Cell I did not touch the game for fear of it ruining my image of the game. I just hope that the game will be much better than the previous hand held title.

For the people who, like me, have no Nintendo 3DS yet. Here is the game play of Splinter Cell 3D.

Weekend is over, what have you been playing?

"In case you were wondering, that's not us"

The weekend is over and I'm sure that it was the peak of gaming time for most of us. I spent my weekend over at my cousins' place and played a bunch of Wii games. Flailing and hilarity ensued for hours. I have also indulged in some more Pokemon White action as well as a bit off frantic dueling action in Dissidia 012 Duodecim.

What have you been playing this past Saturday and Sunday? Any interesting stories from your world saving adventures?

Want to see the 3DS in pieces??

Everybody enjoys a new device differently. Most of you enjoy it by playing those awesome games but in 3-d, while some of you might also enjoy its many features like the augmented reality of the 3DS. Well believe it or not, there are some of you who would just like to rip it apart and put it all together again for......fun.

The people at PimpMyConsole did a good job at showing us that you can rip apart an amazing machine such as the 3DS with just a screw driver and tweezers and put it all together in working condition. I suggest you guys don't try this to your 3DS since it will void your warranty. Just enjoy the device but if breaking machines apart is your thing here's a video showing how its done.   Nintendo lovers fair warning, you might not like what you see.

Locked in a rival battle: Pokemon Black and White

I don't know what it is exactly that makes me hit the replay button over and over and over again. I actually find it annoying sometimes when my rivals Cheren and Bianca just appear out of nowhere and block me especially when my Pokemon aren't at their best but when the music hits, my spirits get raised and I just up and kick their ass every single time.

If you haven't played Pokemon Black and White you probably won't appreciate it in the same light as I do but for those who have played it and those who still are playing it, you all know what I'm talking about.
