Aliens: Colonial Marines gets a Cinematic Trailer

Aliens: Colonial Marines Gearbox Software just release a new Cinematic Trailer that got me all excited for Aliens: Colonial Marines. Its short, but enough to give us an idea on what we'll be getting when the game comes out next year.

I really want this game to be good. It looks good, but it needs to bring the feeling of walking through a narrow corridor, freaked out and relying solely on your tracker. That's what I want to feel in the first minutes into the game. Gearbox Software created Borderlands so I have hope that this game will bring justice to the Aliens franchise. It was pushed way back to 2013 for more polishing, so they have no excuse if it comes out bad.

Aliens: Colonial Marines is a long way from release, it will hit shelves on February 12, 2013 for Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

New Dead or Alive 5 gameplay trailer introduces new character

Dead or Alive 5 Tecmo revealed a new character joining the Dead or Alive 5 roster. Rig is a Canadian Tae kwan Do specialist that shows no mercy fighting against Christie. The video also shows Bass in action for the first time. After Rig talks about Bass' big, he talks it as an insult that starts a fight.

Dead or Alive 5 hits shelves on September 25, 2012 for Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

The Walking Dead Episode 2 gets a release date

Episode 2 Out of nowhere, Telltale has finally given a release date for The Walking Dead Episode 2: Starved For Help.  Xbox 360 owners gets first dibs on the second episode while PS3 and PC owners will have to wait until Friday(June 29). If you don't plan on playing it on a 360, I suggest you avoid Youtube or any live streaming sites until then.

I had a blast with the first episode and it a great start for Telltale's five part game series. Episode 1 had quite a lot of heavy decisions that is said to shape your game's story as you go through each episode, so can't wait. Each episode will cost $5, if you still don't own Episode 1 but plan on getting the game, I suggest you opt for the bundle that gives you access to all five episodes when released. it will cost $20 right on the spot but it does save you $5.

Check out the trailer for episode 2 below. SPOILER BELOW!

Collector's Edition for Resident Evil 6 announced for Europe

RE 6 Capcom just announced the Collector's Edition for Resident Evil 6 for Europe. What about the rest of the world you say? No word yet, but hopefully this package is available worldwide because any Resident Evil fan would love the contents. Here's what you get in Resident Evil 6's Collector's Edition.

  • Resident Evil 6 Game
  • Zombie Steel Book
  • Exclusive RE6 hardback artbook showing concept art from the game
  • Resident Evil 6 Avatar DLC code for 360 owners OR a Resident Evil 6 Dynamic Theme for PS3 owners
  • Ivy University, Tall Oaks hooded sweatshirt (one size)
  • ‘The Resident Evil 6 forces emblems’ – High quality enamelled zinc alloy emblems of the three main protagonists squad insignias, mounted and set in a limited numbered frame authenticated with signatures from Senior producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi , Producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi and Resident Evil 6 Director Eiichiro Sasaki.  A must have piece for any fan of Resident Evil.
  • All of the above amazing goodies are bundled together in the lenticular ‘Needle Bomb’ collectors box

Man, I'd take the sweatshirt any day. Then again, I do live in a tropical country so that's a bad idea.

Resident Evil 6 Anthology and Archives

There is also a Resident Evil Anthology spotted in the wild. Amazon is again advertising products not officially announced by the company providing them. For the PS3 version of the bundle, it will include: Resident Evil 6, Resident Evil: Director's Cut, Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition and Resident 4 HD.

Since Xbox doesn't have the first three games, the Xbox 360 version will include: Resident Evil 6, Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition, Resident Evil 4 HD, Code Veronica HD, and a copy of CGI film Resident Evil Degeneration.

So what's better the Collector's Edition or the Resident Evil Archives? I'd go for the Archives, if it ever gets officially announced. Archives will go for 89.99 and that's a lot of Resident Evil games for that price, not to mention you get the new one too. The Collector's Edition has yet to be priced.
