Ubisoft Showing Their Holiday Spirit: Assassin's Creed IV and World In Conflict Are Free This Month
/UPDATE: Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is now free. You can pick up a free copy for your Uplay account right now.
Ubisoft is in a celebratory mood this month, fitting too since it's that time of the year. For a limited time, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and World in Conflict will be free on PC through Uplay.
It's to celebrate two anniversaries. Both World in Conflict and the first Assassin's Creed game was released ten years ago, and to celebrate these milestones players are given a window to snag free copies for their Uplay account on PC. You can grab you free copy of World in Conflict together with it's expansion Soviet Assault now, the offer is from December 4 (9AM PST) to December 11 (2AM PST). For Black Flag you'll have to wait since the offer will be available on December 12 (6AM PST) and will last until December 18 (2AM PST).
World in Conflict is a great RTS set in an alternate history in which the Soviet Union invades the United States in the late 1980s While Assassin's Creed VI: Black Flag is arguably one of the strongest entries in the series thanks to it's inclusion of naval combat mixed in with your assassin-y deeds as the pirate Edward Kenway.
