Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom Delayed, Coming Out Jan 2018

Ni no Kuni: Revenant Kingdom will no longer arrive this November. The JRPG will now arrive on January 19, 2018 for PlayStation 4 and PC.

In a video statement by Akihiro Hino, CEO and President of developer Level-5 Inc, said "We have decided that more development time is required in order to deliver the full Ni no Kuni II experience to our fans. I deeply apologise to those who have been looking forward to the game's release. Please rest assured, however, that we will continue to strive to provide a deep and satisfying single player experience that our fans can look forward to enjoying."

Hino also took the opportunity to clarifty that Ni no Kuni: Revenant Kingdom will not have multiplayer content. A misunderstanding occurred during an interview at E3 2017.

“During a recent E3 interview session, I may have caused a misunderstanding with my comments regarding Ni no Kuni 2's multiplayer content,” Hino said in today’s video statement. “I misunderstood the interview question, thinking it was asking about online content in general and my answer referred to online announcements of in-game events. As a result of this, I wrongly gave the impression that the game features multiplayer content.” says Hino.
