Vambrace Is Another Rogue-like RPG With Amazing Art

This was one of the head turners for us during this year's Taipei Game Show. Devespresso Games' Vambrace: Cold Soul is a 2D side-scrolling rogue-like RPG with gorgeous art style and gameplay that will most likely stress the hell out of you.

It greatly reminds me of Darkest Dungeon, an RPG that also sucks you in with it's art style and spits you out all delirious from the difficulty and deep RPG elements. It's too soon to tell if Vambrace will provide the same experience but it 's best to not take games like these lightly. With what I've seen with Vambrace it also has a strong emphasis with class synergy and team formations, which i'm a sucker for since it's a trip doing trial and error - finding the best combinations to succeed in the game.

The developers are based in South Korea and this is one of their first big projects as a studio. Their first game called The Coma: Cutting Class is out on PC now with a remastered version called The Coma: Recut now available on PS4 and Xbox One. You can find more details about Vambrace: Cold Soul on their official website but so far there's no official release date aside from the 2018 window. So far,  Vambrace: Cold Soul  is confirmed for the PC and Nintendo Switch platforms.
