Trials Rising's Gamescom Trailer Reminds Us That's It's Out In 2019
/ Carlos HernandezThe next title in the crazy motorcycle platformer series is Trials Rising and it will be out on February 12, 2019 on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
Ubisoft revealed Trials Rising back in June at their E3 2018 press conference. We were told then that it would be an early February 2019 title, but an exact date was not given until today at Gamescom 2018, complete with a new trailer that you can watch below.
For those unfamiliar with the series, Trials is a side-scrolling puzzle platformer with wacky motorcycle tricks players will have to use in order to complete hundreds of courses available. The series' appeal comes from it's environments and stage design. It doesn't take itself seriously and it's all fun and can be quite the challenge in later stages, testing the player's skills in manipulating the bike's physics.
The previous entry in the series, Trials Fusion, was released back in 2014. With Trials Rising, everything that made the Trials series popular remains untouched, and is another entry packed with new content for new and returning players. It's worth noting again that it's coming to the Nintendo Switch, because it's just one of those games that would be perfect for the system.
A closed beta for Trials Rising is set for September 13 - 17 to test the game's multiplayer competition portion. You can sign up now and be one of the select few that can play around with Trials Rising months before release.
