Demon Slayer - Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board! Announced for the Switch
/Sega announced that a video game board game based on the popular anime Demon Slayer called Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board! is releasing on the Nintendo Switch on April 25, 2024, in Asia.
It’s a board game where players play their favorite slayer and participate in various mini-games. The player with the most RP at the end of the game will be the winner.
Here are more details provided by Sega.
Two New Boards!
Prominent locations from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime, such as Mount Fujikasane and Asakusa, will show up on the board!
Board 2 is based on Tsuzumi Mansion and Mount Natagumo, while Board 3 is inspired by the Mugen Train. Minigames inspired by Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and battles against demons lurking on each of these stages await!
Slayer's Dice
Each Demon Slayer possesses their own Slayer's Dice that grants powerful effects unique to each member. Once used, it'll take three turns before it can be used again, so make sure to pick the right timing to maximize its effect. If another Demon Slayer becomes your ally, you will be able to use their Slayer's Dice in addition to your own.
Tackle a Variety of Mini-Games!
A glimpse at some of the new minigames:
Sneaky Sword Styling: Try to secretly make serrations on Inosuke's jagged Nichirin Sword without getting caught by Kanamori!
Tanjiro's Total Concentration Training: Assist Tanjiro as he undergoes intense training, helping him achieve Total concentration!
Team Memory Matching: A 2-on-2 team battle where you must work together to match cards with the same picture!
Knock 'Em Out! Chanbara Swordplay: Trade blows with your opponent and try to push them out of the zone!
Metaphor: ReFantazio is now my favorite title from the Persona team by far. It’s one of those rare games where its main pillars work harmoniously, and you get lost in its charm. It’s a pristine JRPG, with enough style and substance to satisfy hardcore JRPG fans, Persona fans, and even those who rarely touch JRPGs.
