Unfinished Business Exotic Quest - Steps guide
This questline has 13 steps in total. Most steps are self-explanatory as some are just asking you to return and talk to a certain character, so added direction is not needed for these steps as you just need to follow the quest marker.
Step 1 - Head to the Hall of Heroes
Step 2 - Return to Nimbus
Step 3 - Collect Cipher Qubits from Vex
At first glance, this might look a bit tricky, but it’s actually pretty easy to complete. First, you need to kill Vex enemies in Neomuna so that they can drop Cipher qubits. Once you get at least 8 available (you can check the questline again to see how many you have), you can then extract a Data Packet.
You need five Data Packets to complete the step, and to do this you need to find Cloud Accertion (shown above), Neomuna’s resource found all around the Location. If you’re having trouble finding one, add a resource detector mod to your Ghost.
Simply collect a Cloud Accertion like you would normally would with a resource and a Data Packet should be picked up. Do this five times and it should be complete.
Step 4 - locate the data package in Maya’s Retreat
This one is pretty straightforward, just follow the quest marker. The place will look familiar as the area was used in one of Lightfall’s campaign missions.
Step 5 - Defeat the Vex and recover the data
Once you reach the area, you’ll be ambushed by Vex. Dispose of them and pick up the last Data Packet.
Step 6 - Regroup with Nimbus and Osiris
Step 7 - Complete the Thrilladrome Lost Sector in Liming Harbor
The Lost Sector you need to complete is at the Liming Harbor, you can start at the Liming Harbor landing zone. Look at your map and you’ll see the quest marker showing you where the Lost Sector is located. Just head there and it will lead you to a building. Go up to the second floor and look at the vent beside a locked door.
Shoot it and go through the vent as that will lead you straight to the Thrilladrome. Complete it like any other Lost Sector and this Step should be completed right after.
Step 8 - Defeat 100 enemies in Ahimsa Park
Another easy step is, Head to Ahimsa Park, you can get faster from the Liming Harbor landing Zone. Once you are there just kill any Vex you see. Ability kills give more to the total count so just go nuts with your subclass.
Step 9 - Find the Seed of Silver Wings in the Typhon Imperator
The next step will require you to enter Typhon Imperator, which is right beside Ahimsa Park. Just follow the quest marker through the area. It will again be familiar as the location was also used for a campaign mission.
Once you reach the last area, you’ll be attacked by Calus’ Cabal. Dispose of them then start searching each side of the large room. The quest marker will guide you where to go. Once you interact with the right one you’ll receive the ‘Seed of Silver Wings’
Step 10 - Return to Nimbus to get Rohan’s Passkey
Step 11 - Complete the Mission ‘What Remains’
This step will require you to go through a unique mission. Teleport back to the Liming Harbor landing zone and simply follow the quest marker.
You’ll soon come across the ‘What Remains’ mission banner. Go through with it and by the end of it, you will come out with the Deterministic Chaos exotic machine gun.
From here on, you got what you wanted as the remaining step is just tying up loose ends with the narrative attached to this exotic questline.
Step 12 - Return to Nimbus with the Conceptual Mind’s memory core
Step 13 - Go to the Hall of Heroes
And that’s all to it with the Unfinished Business questline. Deterministic Chaos is an interesting machine gun where its fourth shot Weakens the enemy. With the Vexadecimal trait, the fourth shot also makes the target volatile.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure brings back Max Caulfield with new time-manipulation powers, but struggles to capture the original’s emotional weight. While the dual-timeline mechanic is engaging, the story’s weak twists, forgettable characters, and technical issues hold it back. A nostalgic revisit, but not a standout entry in the series.
