Dragon Ball FighterZ PC Public Beta Test for Netcode Rollback Happening in November
/After numerous delays, Bandai Namco and Arc System Works are still determined to release the highly anticipated netcode rollback feature for their fighting game Dragon Ball FighterZ as a public beta test for the feature will occur from November 30 to December 10. This test will only be available to PC players who own the Steam game.
First announced during Evo 2022, Arc System Works was set to add netcode rollback, an online feature that generally makes online matches feel more natural as if you’re playing an offline match.
It’s one of the most essential features for fighting game titles and Dragon Ball FighterZ is set to finally receive it, but delays kept happening as there’s a firm release date in sight.
This public test announcement is a good sign as it shows things are moving forward as this test is meant to stress test the feature. This is the first test announced and they might have another in the future to test netcode rollback in the console versions of the game.
Dragon Ball FighterZ first launched back in 2018 and since it’s release, Bandai and System Arc Works have updated the game with multiple DLC packs that add new characters to the roster.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure brings back Max Caulfield with new time-manipulation powers, but struggles to capture the original’s emotional weight. While the dual-timeline mechanic is engaging, the story’s weak twists, forgettable characters, and technical issues hold it back. A nostalgic revisit, but not a standout entry in the series.
