Hellraiser's Pinhead Is The Next Killer In Dead By Daylight

Behavior Interactive announced that the iconic monster called Pinhead will be coming to Dead By Daylight in the Hellraiser Chapter.
Hellraiser is a known franchise by horror fans that has released various sequels through the years since it’s debut in 1987. It features Pinhead, a Cenobite who are extradimensional beings that exist in a different realm and can only reach Earth through a portal created if someone solves a puzzle box called the Lament Configuration.
How does he play?
Behavior Interactive took to heart the importance of the puzzle box as it’s part of Pinhead’s unique gameplay. For starters, the killer controls chains, which I have to say look pretty slick when used as Pinhead uses them to pick survivors up, break doors and pallets, pretty much do everything with it.
His unique ability plays similar to the killer nurse as Pinhead can teleport at a certain distance then shoots a chain that will slow down survivors that get hit by it. Once you fire your chain, you are teleported back to the point where you activated your skill.
The Lament Configuration will be in the game with Pinhead and will spawn somewhere in the map for survivors to pick up and solve. If survivors do not find the puzzle box and solve it, random chains will constantly harass them, randomly slowing down just a bit. The only problem is, once you find the puzzle box and start solving, the killer will be alerted by the action and can choose to teleport near the player interacting with the box. Pretty unique mechanics, indeed!
Pinhead now available to test in Player Test Build (PTB)
Just after the confirmation of the new Dead by Daylight chapter, the PTB server that features the new killer Pinhead went live. Players on the PC platform eager to try out the new killer can do so by downloading the player test build.

The Hellraiser chapter is a unique chapter as it seems that it will not come with a new survivor to pair with Pinhead, similar to when Ghostface and Leatherface was added into the game, as they had a solo debut as well. There is currently no announcement of a Hellraiser-themed map of any sort. We’ll have to wait and see once the developers fully reveal what to expect from the upcoming chapter.
Pinhead will be one of the many iconic killers available on Dead By Daylight. In the last major update in the game, the Resident Evil Chapter included everyone’s favorite bioweapon Nemesis as it’s themed killer together with Leon Kennedy and Jill Valentine bringing over their own set of perks into the game. Last year, Dead by Daylight released the Silent Hill Chapter which introduced the killer Pyramid head and Cheryl Mason.
