Remnant 2 Surpassed 1 Million Units Sold in Its First Four Days of Release
/It looks like the RPG shooter Remnant 2 from Gunfire Games is doing rather well as publisher Gearbox Publishing announced that the sequel to Remnant : From the Ashes was able to reach over one million units sold in just the first four days of release across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
To celebrate the milestone, they released an accolades trailer.
“To everyone who helped us achieve this amazing milestone, thank you for your unwavering support,” said David Adams of Gunfire Games. “This was a multi-year journey for us and we couldn’t be happier to see fans having such a great time with a game we put our heart and soul into.”
Gearbox Publishing also expressed that “Remnant 2 exceeded our expectations. As a commercial and critical hit, we’re incredibly proud of the Gunfire team and everyone here at Gearbox Publishing who brought this title to life,”
The majority of critic reviews have contributed greatly to the sequel’s start as it currently has a Metacritic score of 80. On Steam, the game currently has a ‘Very Positive’ rating across over 10,000 reviews submitted by users so far.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure brings back Max Caulfield with new time-manipulation powers, but struggles to capture the original’s emotional weight. While the dual-timeline mechanic is engaging, the story’s weak twists, forgettable characters, and technical issues hold it back. A nostalgic revisit, but not a standout entry in the series.
