Resident Evil 4 Remake Demo Is Now Available on PlayStation and PC
/Capcom announced that the remake of Resident Evil 4 now has a playable demo on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC (via Steam). The demo is called the ‘Chainsaw Demo’ and surprisingly doesn’t have any form of time limit, so players can go through it multiple times if they like.
This demo is set at the beginning of the game when Leon first encounters a village filled with crazy residents. And with the demo title, you should definitely expect to face a chainsaw at some point.
This remake of Resident Evil 4, just like the previous Resident Evil remakes, is a modernization of the classics, but for this one, visual improvements aren’t the only change as we have new additions such as the ability to parry attacks
Pre-orders for Resident Evil 4 are now available
Resident Evil 4 will also launch with standard, deluxe, and collector’s editions. Pre-orders will score you a gold attache case and a special handgun ammo gun charm.
As for the deluxe edition, the package comes with a variety of additional costumes for Leon and weapons such as the SEntinel Nine and Skull Shaker weapon. The Collector’s Edition is for those that want to go all-out as it comes with a figure of Leon, an Artbook of the game’s designs, a CD of the game’s soundtrack, and more.
Resident Evil 4 is set to launch on March 24 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure brings back Max Caulfield with new time-manipulation powers, but struggles to capture the original’s emotional weight. While the dual-timeline mechanic is engaging, the story’s weak twists, forgettable characters, and technical issues hold it back. A nostalgic revisit, but not a standout entry in the series.
