Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective Launching This June, Pre-orders Now Live
/The remaster of the 2010 title Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective will officially launch on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (Steam) on June 30, 2023.
This mystery adventure game earned a strong following when it was released long ago and is making a comeback with high-resolution graphics, better framerates, and all 37 tracks rearranged by composer Yasumasa Kitagawa, known for his work on The Great Ace Attorney series. This version of the game will also feature quality-of-life improvements to the overall gameplay of the game to cater to each platform as the original game utilized the 3DS’ two screens.
This version of the game will also include new challenges, and new trophies to earn, and will support localization for Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
Those who pre-order the game will receive in-game rewards such as four game screen backgrounds and two BGM tracks.
For those unfamiliar with Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, you play as Sissel, a man that lost his life and is trying to regain his lost memory and hopefully find the truth behind his death. With him being a ghost, Sissel can use his supernatural ability to possess objects to affect the outcome of a certain event, which in turn could change the fate of certain characters in the game.
The release date was revealed during Capcom’s livestream showcase, which also revealed that the upcoming remake of Resident Evil 4 now has a playable demo available on PlayStation and Steam.
This will be music to the ears of kids who grew up on the series, but for the uninitiated, there’s nothing quite like the Mario & Luigi games. Mario & Luigi Brothership does its best to appeal to a wide range of players with charming presentation and a strong new Battle Plug system, but not everyone will be enamored with its reflex-testing gameplay.
