Synduality Echo of Ada Arrives on Consoles and PC This January
/Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia has officially announced that Synduality Echo of Ada is set to release early next year. Players on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S can jump into the world of Amasia on January 23, 2025, while PC players will have to wait until January 24 to dive in via Steam.
Alongside this announcement, Bandai Namco has released a new trailer and provided more details about the game’s various editions, both physical and digital.
Early Purchase and Pre-Order Bonuses
For those eager to secure their copy early, Bandai Namco is offering a few bonuses for early purchases and pre-orders. Players who buy the physical edition early or pre-order the digital edition will receive the Daisyogre Cradlecoffin set, the same unit piloted by Kanata in the anime Synduality Noir. It’s a unique reward, though players should note that the unit cannot be reacquired if lost during gameplay.
Additionally, pre-ordering the Deluxe or Ultimate Editions will grant players seven days of early access to the main game, giving fans a head start on the action. This bonus is available for both digital and physical versions of the Deluxe Edition.
Early Access to Open Network Test
Another incentive for pre-ordering the Standard, Deluxe, or Ultimate Edition is the opportunity to gain 48 hours of additional playtime during the upcoming Open Network Test, which is said to be announced very soon.
Ultimate Edition Features Exclusive Content
Players looking for extra goodies can purchase the Ultimate Edition, which comes packed with special bonuses. Notably, it includes two special tickets, one of which gives players the chance to unlock Mystere, a character from Synduality Noir who isn’t available in the regular game.
The Ultimate Edition also comes with the Ultimate Drifter Pass, unlocking exclusive limited-edition items, special outfits like the Magus Costume School Uniform, and seven days of early access to the full game.
Synduality Echo of Ada is set in the world of Amasia, where they take on the role of Drifters, piloting their Cradlecoffin mechs on missions to collect rare AO crystals. Along the way, they’ll encounter various dangers, from fearsome monsters to rival players, as they uncover the deeper mysteries of this futuristic world. Players will also choose their Magus, an AI companion that aids them during missions, and build a unique bond with them as they navigate the game’s many challenges.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure brings back Max Caulfield with new time-manipulation powers, but struggles to capture the original’s emotional weight. While the dual-timeline mechanic is engaging, the story’s weak twists, forgettable characters, and technical issues hold it back. A nostalgic revisit, but not a standout entry in the series.
