Survival Horror Crow Country Launches on Switch and the PS4 on October 16
/The indie survival horror Crow Country from British developer SFB Games is set to haunt Nintendo Switch and PS4 players starting October 16, with full Japanese localization debuting across all platforms for the first time.
Crow Country is one of the surprising survival horror titles in 2024 that has received mostly positive reviews from critics and players as the game currently sits with a 84 Metacritic rating on the PC platform and a 7.9 user rating. On Steam, the user reviews also show a positive note as the game is currently at an ‘Overwhelmingly Positive’ rating with over 3,000 user reviews logged in.
The game also launched on the PS5 and the Xbox Series versions together with the PC version, and for this spooky month, Switch and PS4 players can opt to experience a horror game that pays homage to the PS1-style of survival horror.
“We're really excited for Crow Country to release on Switch, I think it's an excellent fit for the console.” says SFB Games’ Creative Director Adam Vian. “After our very successful launch earlier this year, we really want the game to be available to everyone! And surely there's no better time to pick up Crow Country than Halloween...”
Crow Country will be priced at $19.99 on the Switch and PS4 in their respective digital stores.
For those curious to give the game a try, a playable demo of the game is available on Steam.
This will be music to the ears of kids who grew up on the series, but for the uninitiated, there’s nothing quite like the Mario & Luigi games. Mario & Luigi Brothership does its best to appeal to a wide range of players with charming presentation and a strong new Battle Plug system, but not everyone will be enamored with its reflex-testing gameplay.
