The King Of Fighters XV Delayed To Q1 2022
/ Carlos HernandezIf you’re looking forward to King of Fighters XV, you’ll have to wait at least next year as SNK announced that they have delayed the next entry of the popular fighting game series to Q1 2022 due to the sudden rise of COVID-19 cases in Japan.
What’s the reason for the delay? According to the announcement by KOF XV producer Yasuyuki Oda, they are aiming for next year due to the sudden rise of COVID-19 cases in Japan.
”The development timeline we set out to reach in the beginning has been affected by the ever-still rising cases of COVID-19 within Japan. We have made the ultimate decision in the end that the product’s quality must come first, and so with that decision comes an altered release window.” says Oda.
“We sincerely ask for your kind patience and understanding as our development teams continue to work hard on KOF XV as we draw closer to its release.”
King of Fighters XV never had an exact release date announce but it was originally aiming for a release sometime this year. Information is pretty limited that the platforms for the fighting game has yet to be announced.
