To fully utilize Xbox Cloud Gaming without much lag or issue while playing, it is recommended that you have access to internet speeds of up to 20 Mbps or higher for PC, 10 Mbps or higher for iPhone, 20 Mbps or higher for iPad.
The Philippines isn’t on the list of countries that supports the streaming service at the moment, which makes sense as the country’s overall internet infrastructure hasn’t reached the point where cloud gaming can be fully supported and used as intended anywhere in the country. The country current has an average mobile and broadband internet speed of 25.43Mbps according to a report by the Manila Standard back in April 2021. A big improvement if you consider that we once held an average of 7.44Mbps in 2016, one of the lowest in the world.
For Xbox Game pass, It is possible to subscribe to the gaming service in the Philippines but harder to access as you can’t simply put your local PayPal account or credit card to subscribe as Microsoft accounts currently do not support local transactions. The easiest solution so far is purchasing Xbox Game pass prepaid cards on local retail stores or local online stores.
