Yamauchi doing some work on Gran Turismo 6

Gran Turismo 5 While it is too early to talk about the next Gran Turismo, Kazunori Yamauchi told Complex that Polyphony Digital started working on the 6th installment of the series. Don't worry, based on how long they took to develop the 5th game, we're talking about years from now.

If you ask me , Gran Turismo 5 might be the only GT we'll have on the PS3 as I see it has many years left in it. They're still busy supporting GT5 at the same time just placed a huge update on the game. It's constantly evolving at the same time taking so much space in your PS3. It took Polyphony Digital 5 years to get released since it's announcement back in 2005.

Is it time to talk about the 6th installment? too early or not, Polyphony Digital is starting work early.

Gran Turismo 5 getting huge update, DLC also coming

Gran Turismo 5 patch Gran Turismo 5 is a game that is constantly evolving, that's what creator Gran Turismo creator  Kazunori Yamauchi said after the release of the game. Well, a huge update patch is on the way called "Spec 2.0" with a DLC coming a week after.

Kazunori Yamauchi announced via Twitter about the update. No information yet about what the update or the DLC is all about, but it's good to know that they are still working to improve Gran Turismo 5. The DLC might include more cars, but then again with their 1k car roster, doesn't make much sense.

Gran Turismo 5 is a great game, but not perfect. With a development time of 5 years, the hype definitely affected people s impression of the game. They have went a long way though thanks to constant patches of the game like online events and online dealerships, and other improvements. Keep it coming Polyphony Digital, because you have a lot of gamers playing this game for years to come.
