Diablo 3 open to all this weekend

Diablo 3 open beta Blizzard just announced Diablo 3's Open Beta weekend. If your anxious as I am to give Diablo 3 a try before its worldwide release on May 15, here's our chance. As long as you have a valid Battlenet account, you can join in on the open beta this weekend.

You can start downloading the client now and start playing Diablo 3 this weekend. You'll have access to all classes but only able to progress up to level 13.

The open beta is from From Friday, April 20 at 12:01 p.m. PDT (noon), until Monday, April 23 at 10:00 a.m. PDT.

This for me is considered a demo of the game since the game is less than a week away from release.

Prey 2 not canceled, says Bethesda

Prey 2 not canned With the rumors going around that Prey 2 has been cancelled, Bethesda has finally given an update to put those rumors to rest. The project is not dead, but it's currently not meeting the standards of Bethesda.  Thus, the 2012 release date won't be happening anymore.

The delay is due to the fact that game development has not progressed satisfactorily this past year, and the game does not currently meet our quality standards.

Prey 2 was unveiled last year and has been shown to numerous events including last year's E3. During E3, they revealed a playable demo of the game which to me looked amazing. After E3, the developer Human Head went silent for months showing no progress of Prey 2. 2012, the year of it's possible release and no new content was being revealed, then the rumors starting flying of its cancellation.

Production did not go as planned and while Bethesda did not cancel the project, it sounds like it was hanging by a thread.

We are determined only to release the AAA game that fans rightfully expect, and are unwilling to compromise our quality standards to meet a release schedule.

Prey 2 shows a lot of promise from what was shown last year. Hopefully everything goes well over at Human Head.

With Prey 2 out of 2012, Bethesda is not focusing on they're new title Dishonored.

Darksiders 2 delay confirmed

THQ's Darksiders 2, planned for a June released, is now pushed back for an August release. People believed that a delay was coming because of the layoffs that happened at THQ but Vigil states the reason of the delay is for game polishing and fixing game bugs.

Two months delay isn't so bad. I'm all for a more polished game rather than a game rushed out the door.

Darksiders is now for an August release for Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. The Wii U version of the game will be released on console release day.

Bethesda's Dishonored gets first trailer

Dishonored trailer Bethesda's big reveal is out. The studio has been hinting and teasing of a big reveal and a lot of people believed it was Skyrim's first DLC, but it was actually Dishonored's first ever trailer. I'm definitely excited for this game. While the trailer does not have any gameplay footage, you get an idea of the character you'll be playing, the art, the gameplay, and the world of Dishonored.

Dishonored is actually due this year for Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. So be sure to see more about Dishonored in the future.
