The honor of Kings winter celebration event is in full swing as this year features a series of events, game modes, and more.
Embrace the Chill - New Frosty Powers and Modes
The event will change things up for players as new mechanics and game modes are coming to the game as they will be active for a limited time at set dates.
Snow-Themed Mechanics
Snow Overlord & Snow Tyrant (Nov 28 – Jan 8): Defeat these icy bosses to gain slow or freeze effects.
Hero’s Ice Burst Skill (Dec 12 – Jan 8): Certain heroes (Lady Zhen, Princess Frost, Zhuangzi, Dolia, DaQiao, Shi) can stack "Ice" effects to trigger explosive area damage and slowing effects.
Gameplay Phases on the Main Battlefield
The big gameplay additions will happen starting today as players will first experience Glacial Twisters then other effects on the battlefield to really change things up this holiday season.
Phase 1: Glacial Twisters (Nov 28 – Dec 11)
Tornadoes spawn in the jungle every two minutes, slowing and pushing players on contact. Utilize them for tactical advantage or avoid them entirely.
Phase 2: Ice Path Effect (Dec 12 – Dec 23)
Summoning the Shadow Vanguard creates an Ice Path that briefly freezes enemies, offering a strategic advantage.
Phase 3: River Sled (Dec 24 – Jan 8)
Defeating the river sprite grants a sled for a speed boost, perfect for support or quick retreats.
The snowy casual mode also adds two new options: Snowy Brawl and Snowy Race.
Winter Dreamland Event Timeline and Rewards
The Winter Dreamland event will also include a series of in-game rewards with free rewards and login, cosmetic rewards, and play match rewards from December 6, 2024, until January 2025.
