[UPDATED - He survived!]League of Legends’ Gangplank is now dead thanks to the game’s lore, no longer playable

A weird turn for Riot Games - killing off a character and making it not playable in the game. Everybody's favorite pirate Gangplank met his maker during the Bilgewater event in the hands of his nemesis Miss Fortune, leaving him MIA in the current character roster. Is this really the end for Gangplank? Probably not. [UPDATEGangplank didn't really die apparently. Act 3 has landed and Riot Games has reintroduced Gangplank with a new character design. He survived the assassination attempt, but lost his arm in the process. Here's the new Gangplank:

You can grab the new details of the new version of Gangplank here.

----ORIGINAL STORY----

It's interesting move by Riot Games to remove a character entirely for the sake of lore. Players are left scratching their heads and isn't so happy with the move, since I'm sure some of them paid for the character and his line of character skins. Here's what Riot Games has to say regarding his death:

Champion death is unprecedented in League of Legends, and we do not take it lightly. We encourage all Gangplank fans to remain calm for a few days until we can fully assess the situation. At this time, we are not addressing refund requests for him or his skins but please know that over the next several days we’ll do our best to make things right for everyone.

So yeah, remain calm.

Our take? He's going to be retooled and probably play differently once reintroduced, maybe as a ghostly figure? If not, only time will tell how Riot will address the players that invested on Gangplank.

Ken Masters joins Street Fighter V but isn't the Ken we all know

Ken Masters is the latest contender in Street Fighter V and we are liking the new look for the fiery world warrior. Aside from the new look, Ken Masters will have a more aggressive fighting style this time around. He will be a bit more flashy this time around thanks to his V-Skills providing extension to his combos. Ken's V-Trigger is called "Heat Rush", and his V-Skill is called "Quick Step".

At the end of the trailer, we were given a teaser of an upcoming character. Who is it? We are still trying to figure that out. Who do you think it is?

Batman: Arkham Knight PC Sales Suspended

Planning to buy Batman: Arkham Knight? Well, we urge you to not get the PC version of the game. A series of issues has made it to a point that publisher Warner Bros. has suspended sales of the PC version, even urging disappointed consumers to make use of the Steam Refund or retail refund.

“We want to apologize to those of you who are experiencing performance issues with Batman: Arkham Knight on PC. We take these issues very seriously and have therefore decided to suspend future game sales of the PC version while we work to address these issues to satisfy our quality standards,” a Warner Bros. representative wrote on the publisher’s forums.

What issues? It's seems to be a lot, and with each consumer having different cases based on their PC's specs. Mainly, issues can range from crashes and freezes (experienced by players that pre-loaded the game), to FPS drops in certain areas in the game, especially when gliding or using the batmobile, and these are being experienced by high end Nvidia cards such as the GTX 980, and GTX 970. AMD users isn't getting a free pass with performance either, with reports of FPS drops going below 30. Steam adjusted the minimum requirements for Arkham Knight right before launch, also warning AMD users of possible issues. Manually editing some files are said to fix the FPS issue and bring it up to the 60 range. You can read the on-going Reddit thread about Arkham Knight for PC here.

Granted, these can be fixed through a series of patches, but you might have to wait a little longer or consider a different platform until the developers get everything in check.

Have you opt for the PC version, are the reactions to this version of the game that bad?
