We're back to playing some old NES games again. We played the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game (the one with that dreaded swimming level) that came out on the NES and we also played Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: Manhattan Project. Turtle power!

Happy Monday, everyone. Time for another episode of Timed Trials. This time we take a look a little gem that I'm a lot of people passed up. It's Disney's Cars 2 the video game! Seriously, this is a solid casual racer with a lot of polish.

After we recorded episode 21 of the TMG Podcast, Migoy and Will check out the first hour of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2. The game looks pretty fun. I can't say much about the story at this point but the gameplay feels solid and the game looks great.
Starting the week off with the third episode of Timed Trials. Since we've been playing a bit of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, I saw that LEGO Lord of the Rings was available as a timed trial on PlayStation Plus and thought to give it a try.

Even though we hate to admit it, the Wii U is Nintendo's new console on the block, something like this is to be expected.
As of May 20, 2014, Nintendo will end the online functionality for a lot of Wii, DS and DSi games. Including the likes of Mario Kart Wii, Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Mario Kart DS. You won't be able to play online or even access leaderboards. Even the forgotten Wii Speak and Wii Speak Channel will also be affected.
Good news is that not all online functionality is being shut down. Access to the Wii Shop Channel will still be around and for those of you who use the Wii for your video-on-demand services, such as Hulu and Netflix. These will also not be affected.
