Bethesda Officially Unveils Oblivion Remaster — And you Can Play it Now
/Bethesda has finally made it official - The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered has been revealed.
This has been 2025’s worst kept secret as leaks after leaks keep showing up, confirming one leak after another that those invested in the series aren’t surprised by the title but just eager to finally see it.
Well, the wait is over and most of the leaks came out true as Bethesda now only officially revealed The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, but they also shadow dropped the new version of the game, meaning it’s now available starting today on Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5.
This remaster goes beyond a simple facelift as developer Virtuous has rebuilt the game with new assets through Unreal Engine 5 but various quality-of-life improvements to gameplay, UI/UX changes to modernizing Oblivion for 2025.
