NetherRealm's Ramping Up The Fight Of Injustice 2 With A Trailer Series

If there's one thing that NetherRealms is known for, it's probably their solid attempt at creating a story-driven campaign for their fighting games. Games like Street Fighter V has taken notes for their story mode and it has become some sort of staple when it comes to all their games. Both their Mortal Kombat titles as well as the first Injustice had great story campaigns, so it's only natural that Injustice 2 has the same treatment.

Since February, Warner Bros. and NetherRealms Studio has been releasing a series of trailers showing what's in store for Injustice 2 when it comes to the game's story. The trailer series is called Shattered Alliances and it currently has 4 parts now available online. The title fits considering that characters that are once allies are against each other for reasons unknown. There's conflict everywhere, even among villains, and i'm curious on how their story mode will unfold when the game comes out on May.

Enough of my babbling, why don't you take a look at what's going on below:

Shattered Alliances Part 2

Shattered Alliances Part 3

Shattered Alliances Part 4

There are currently 27 playable characters announced so far, with Darkseid making the 28th character as a pre-order incentive. Injustice 2 will be out on May 16 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
