PlayStation Plus Lineup For May 2017

May starts next week and PlayStation Plus has two great games for their subscribers: Abzu and Tales from the Borderlands.

Abzu, which launched in August of 2016 for PS4 and PC, is an underwater adventure in which you play as a diver exploring marine life. We played it, and thought it was a great experience to get lost in.

Tales from the Borderlands, a Telltale Games series paired up with Gearbox Software, is an episodic adventure that perfectly captures the tone and humour of the Borderlands series and puts you on edge with the choices you make for the characters you'll love once you've finished all five episodes.

Thanks to the cross-buy program, PS4 owners will also have access to the free games coming to Vita owners. For the PlayStation Vita, you get Bounds Games' Laser Disco Defenders, a bullet-hell shooter, and Ex Nihilo's Type: Rider, a platformer.

For those on the PlayStation side, subscribers will get Deck13 Interactive's Blood Knights, a hack-and-slash action game, and Gaming Minds' Port Royale 3: Pirates and Merchants, a simulation game.

All of these free games for each of their respective platforms will be available for PlayStation Plus subscribers next Tuesday, May 2 (Or Wednesday, May 3, for those in Asia).

With that in mind, don't forget to pick up the April games before it rolls out.
