Left Alive Announced By Square Enix At TGS 2017

During TGS 2017's pre-event presentation, Square Enix revealed a new game called Left Alive. A teaser trailer, which you can watch above, shows very little of the game. It starts with a corridor and after a few explosions the camera pans to the left and you see a ruined city with what looks like futuristic helicopters transporting mech-like machines heading towards the sun.

Director Toshifumi Nebashima, known to have worked on the Armored Core series, is working on the project alongside veteran character artist Yoji Shinkawa. Shinkawa is best known for his character art and design for the Metal Gear and Zone of Ender series and it looks like he's implementing that similar style for Left Alive. Have a look at the released art below.

Will this be a shooter? Are there ninjas involved? Is it in a post-apocalyptic world? We have no clue but it is slated for a 2018 release on PS4, PC and we'll keep a look out for when Square Enix is ready to talk more about Left Alive.
