/During the latest Nintendo Direct, which you can watch in its entirety above, revealed that Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze are heading to the Nintendo Switch this year.
This version of Hyrule Warriors will include all content found from the original game, plus all DLC's released so far, including content from the 3DS version. The Definitive edition will also come with Breath of the Wild themed costumes for Zelda and Link. The Switch version will have two player split-screen co-op and you can make use of the Joy-Con controllers for each player. It will be out sometime in Spring.

This is what we were hoping for - amazing Wii U titles heading to the Nintendo Switch. Bayonetta 2 is already heading to the Switch together with the sequel. With this Nintendo Direct, there's hope that we'll hear more Wii U titles making the switch to fill in the gaps for Nintendo's release schedule. There is still a handful that I think deserve to be in the new console, like Captain Toad and Pikmin 3, to name a few.
The latest Nintendo Direct was short but packed with great announcements, ending the presentation with the reveal of From Software's Dark Souls coming to a Nintendo console.
