Ubisoft's Rainbow Six Siege, the excellent team-based tactical shooter, will get a free to play weekend as part of a limited-time event. Our own Carlos Hernandez is a pretty big fan of the game, and thinks its grown immeasurably since its rocky launch back in 2015.

From February 15 to February 20, the game will be available for anyone to play on Xbox One, PC and PS4. Progress you make during the free weekend WILL carry forward if you decide to buy the game after, so that's a big plus plus. More details on the event can be found on the game's website.

It's also worth noting that Operation Chimera, the game's first piece of seasonal content for this year will be rolling out through the testing realm, before making an official deployment on March 6. The co-op mode Outbreak will also launch on the test server on February 20 before coming to all systems for a limited time from March 6 through April 3.

According to Ubisoft, Siege has more than 25 million registered players and as of this writing, there are over 50,000 players active on Steam. That means that even though the game is nearly three years old, locating a play group shouldn't be too hard.
