/For those that pre-ordered Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, the Private Beta will be open exclusively on PlayStation this weekend, beginning Friday. Developer Treyarch has released a new trailer showcasing what to expect this weekend.
Xbox One and PC users will have to wait until the following weekend for their time with the Private Beta, beginning Friday, August 10 at 10 AM PT (Saturday August 11 at 1AM HKT) until Monday August 13, 10AM PT (Tuesday August 14, 1AM HKT)
This is a pretty hefty beta. It'll feature 10 playable Specialists, 6 maps, and 6 game modes. But the trailer above isn't all about the Private Beta.
The end of the trailer gives us our first look at the new game mode called Blackout, Call of Duty's take on the phenomenon that is Battle Royale. We see vehicle combat from land, air, and if you stop the trailer at the right time you'll notice a military boat. Quite brief but in the end it confirms another beta for Blackout, currently planned for September.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be the first Call of Duty game that will not feature a single player campaign. The multiplayer shooter will be out on October 12 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
The next live service content drop for the action RPG Diablo IV is Season of the Infernal Hordes, which launches on August 7 at 1 a.m. SGT (GMT +8).
