Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 announced by Activision
/Activision has confirmed that the Call of Duty title for 2023 will be Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and will be a direct sequel to last year’s game. It’s set to come out on November 10, 2023.
The announcement was accompanied by a rather short teaser with protagonist Captain Price saying “Never bury your enemies alive”.
This is likely a reboot of the 2011 Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and there’s sadly no other official information beyond this.
But Call of Duty content creators FaZe Swagg posted a video showing that he received a mysterious package from the developers that contained a sandal, a can, and an old cellphone. The community is now theorizies that this is their way of hinting that the fan-favorite slide cancel movement will make a return in the next game.
Regardless, the new game is just filled with questions as it’s not clear if we are going to be pacakaged as a full-priced game or a major expansion to support the Modern Warfare 2 and the new iteration of Warzone.

This is an online game that can easily satisfy any Battlefield veteran, and could seriously compete for your time and retake its space in an already crowded genre. Just don't get it mainly for its campaign.
