A Playable Demo of Granblue Fantasy Relink Is Now Available
/Sega just released a playable demo for Granblue Fantasy: Relink on the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 to allow any player to try out the game before its release on February 1, 2024.
The demo will feature a small section of the game’s story mode that if you complete it you’ll get a reward that can be used in the full game. Players can also try Quest Mode, a game mode that features three quests that can be tackled with other players online. This mode also gives players a chance to try out the game’s many characters as this mode features 11 characters to play around with and get a feel of each of their playstyle. These characters are: Gran Katalina, Rackam, Io, Charlotta, Ghandagoza, Narmaya, Lancelot, Siegfried, Yodarha, and Zeta.
Clearing this mode as well will also reward the player with a reward for the full game.
Lastly, the demo will feature a Tutorial mode that simply allows players to familiarise themselves with the games controls.
Based on its synopsis, “Granblue Fantasy: Relink takes place in the Sky Realm, where myriad islands float in a great blue expanse. The protagonist, joined by a scrappy little dragon named Vyrn and a young girl with mysterious powers named Lyria, sails for Estalucia, a fabled island beyond the end of the skies. Along the way, they meet a colorful cast of characters, adding kings and misfits alike to their ragtag crew.”
Granblue Fantasy: Relink was first announced back in 2016 but went through various delays through the years.
Sega and the game’s developer Cygames released a second showcase presentation for Granblue Fantasy Relink on January 11 as the developers gave an in-depth look at how quests together with the game’s story, even showcasing high-level quests in the end game.
