Back 4 Blood Expansion 2 Revealed as Children of the Worm, Out This August

Developer Turtle Rock Studios have announced the second expansion for their 4-player co-op game Back 4 Blood. Titled ‘Children of the Worm’, this expansion adds a new playable Cleaner, new enemies, weapon skins, new weapons, accessories, cards, and lastly the addition of an Act 5.
Children of the Worm expansion is an added story campaign that moves the story along as the cleaners face a new threat. Information is pretty scarce at the moment but from what we can tell these enemies don't seem to be the usual infected but human threats as the image revealed show four new kinds of enemies to worry about. It also looks like the new act will feature six levels.
The expansion will also include 8 character skins and a new weapon called the Lockjaw and a bear trap accessory. As for the new Cleaner named Prophet Dan, Turtle Rock has yet to reveal what he will bring to the team.
You can expect more info soon as the Children of the Worm expansion is set to release on August 30, 2022.
The first expansion, titled ‘Tunnels of Terror, was a great start for Back 4 Blood as it injects a fresh yet risky activity that will reward players if players choose to do it.
